Lidl Schweiz — Eggstrasse 88, 8803 Rüschlikon, Switzerland

I always have a good shopping experience. Maybe because I go early or late. The parking is free under one hour, and imo spots are big enough. The only point of improvement I need to make is that dates on products should be better checked by staff. Today I bought a pack of butter and only at home I noticed that the due date was today. That shouldn't have been in the rack any more. Probably it's because it's a new shop with lower rotation, but still. Stuff like that will not get you more customers. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The store itself is ok. What is absolutely terrible is the parking. If you are planning to do a big family shopping (therefore spend a lot of money), DO NOT GO TO THIS LIDL. The parking is limited to only 60 minutes. If you exceed this time by any amount, you get a few days later via post a fine of CHF 40!!! In all the other shops, when you exceed the period of free parking, you need to pay a little bit (something like CHF 1.00 / hour). Not here, you get a huge fine instead. And you don't even know when exactly you arrived. There is no gate with a machine giving you a ticket with the time of arrival. Your arrival is registered automatically by some camera at the entrance (not clearly marked, probably somewhere on the roof) and you need to track your parking time yourself. And when you contact the Lidl support with this situation, they basically say they don't care, because the parking lot is outsourced to another company and if you have a complaint, you should take it up with them. Horrible experience, I will never be coming back to this store.
