The parking situation for visitors is disastrous. The signage for visitor parking is completely useless for people who have never been to the site before. It's like a labyrinth without a proper wayfinding system.
I was accompanied by a wheelchair user at the Joweid Center. The entrance and the entire approach are a nightmare. If you leave the building towards the village, you're supposed to turn left, but that leads to a staircase. Going the other way, you have to drive through a zone that's actually prohibited for pedestrians/wheelchair users. The lady at reception wasn't entirely sure either, but thanks to her charm and lovely manner, we somehow managed to find our way out of the labyrinth with a smile and some Easter eggs.
Very outdated and inefficient. Unwilling to make changes or improve infrastructure. Not recommended. Management was not very friendly.
Catastrophic parking situation for visitors.
Not only the trip to Rüti, but the entire area is worth a visit and offers beautiful excursions.
