I have been waiting for a keyboard replacement for 3 weeks for my work laptop. Their customer service has incorrectly input my address 4 times. Their customer service is dysfunctional and not helpful. They do not respond to emails. They will not provide a line of communication to the local technicians until they call you directly. I have no idea how this disfunctional, disorganized company is still in business. It’s almost as if HP doesn’t want to honor their warranties, and had in turn employed hemmersbach to carry out this mission. The warranty repair I am working on is for my work laptop. In total I have spent 20 plus hours on the phone with hemmersbach trying to schedule a simple repair and ship a keyboard to the correct address. Would love for Hemmersbach to take some ownership of this situation and resolve it.
I have a 3 years "Premium" service package. The after sales organisation does not work: you have to call dozens of telephone numbers in vain in hope of getting service. Some numbers they ask you to call do not work, or lines are cut after they connect you to again another place. Your are pingponged between multiple countries call centers with no end in sight. There is no e-mail nor one responsible contact you can reach.
There were a lot of negative reviews, but honestly, everything was great! The technician was very professional, and the repair was arranged in exactly 25 minutes. The only downside was that you're notified quite late about the technician's arrival, only an hour beforehand. But otherwise, everything else was very satisfactory.
My HP laptop needs to be repaired for the second time. The technician was supposed to call 30 minutes before arriving. He called 7 minutes after he arrived. Although I asked him to leave a message, he didn't. Then, a "service" employee lectured me about how clueless I was and told me I should sit by my phone because the technician might call. Up to that point, Hammersbach deserves 1 star. Only after 30 minutes did a company employee call me. He understood what had happened and arranged a new appointment. Unlike the previous employee, his manner was respectful and solution-oriented. He earns 3 additional stars!
Catastrophic. It's been 2 weeks since I called about a faulty keyboard on an HP still under warranty. There is no consistency between them and HP. HP tells me something I'm not aware of, they tell me something else I'm not aware of. They give me appointments and don't show up, call me back 2 days later, making excuses like children who don't know how to lie properly in front of their parents. There is absolutely no professionalism within this structure and it's unacceptable! It's a shame that the minimum is 1 star, because that's already one star too many that they don't even deserve. I have an appointment tomorrow supposedly to finally change this keyboard, I already know in advance that after missing 5 appointments without letting me know, tomorrow will be the same. And then, as luck would have it, when we tried to call back to ask for an explanation, it was impossible to get an answer; a great clown business might as well open a Hemmersbach circus.
Today's experience: Hemmersbach is a Lenovo service partner – A minor keyboard defect was reported on Monday, and the technician came today. Very friendly, excellent service, very fast, simply perfect. Thank you very much!
