Contact with Mr. Dieguez was friendly and straightforward. As a bricklayer, he works professionally and cleanly. However, his rates are sometimes opaque and certainly too high. He seemed to notice my lack of experience with tradespeople and exploited this to squeeze as much profit as possible out of my small job. How he could, for example, work for over three hours in just one hour at the house, and how he could manage to spend half an hour each way traveling from the neighboring village, a journey that takes barely five minutes, is beyond me. Overall, his work was satisfactory, but approach with caution.
