Tried to help friend of mine... rude, arrogant and basically not interested in your issue.

40 francs late fees?? That's outrageous! Send a reminder first, and make it free, before charging late fees. It's incredibly customer-unfriendly. But I guess certain institutions are allowed to do that.

Roman Keller, a recipient of disability benefits since 2020, is asking for help. His financial situation is unbearable. Please contact me and help at Bürgerheimstrasse 15 / 8853 Lachen. I have no access to my mobile phone or bank account. The storage room in Lachen is not healthy for my well-being. Please help. I am currently unjustly confined to the clinic. I have no support network in this emergency. I have been completely excluded since 2023. I am deeply shaken and saddened. I have been treated like dirt. Please help!

Alimony Department: Normal procedures are not being followed. Inappropriate treatment of alleged debtors. Zero communication – the entire department (department head, branch manager, case workers) prefers to ghost you if you want an explanation. Debt collection before information – seizure before conversation. Arrogant and complacent despite serious errors (systemic?). It's good for the respective creditors, who don't have to spend exorbitant amounts of money on lawyers – Swiss family law is notoriously flawed, very vague, and extremely dependent on the individual judge; it doesn't take much to take everything from the other side. Why is there no support for the alleged debtor? The Alimony Department is not a shining example because of the prevailing disrespect towards the other side. I've also heard that seizures were carried out even though no debt existed (anymore) – simply because they can. When I think about it: the procedures should be made public – accessible to the public through the press and the Federal Council. The legislation itself is enough to make you shake your head. I'm pretty sure no citizen knows offhand how many rights they lose as soon as they separate and have to pay alimony. How dependent you become on the other side. You have to keep a straight face or you're ruined. Just the fact that you can be held liable for up to five years retroactively. Trust no one. I completely understand anyone in Switzerland who doesn't want to get married or have children. However, as long as no one speaks out about it, and the press doesn't address the issue and keep it a topic of discussion, unfortunately, nothing will ever change.

I was left on hold from 4:50 PM to 5:00 PM and then fobbed off by an automated message. My inquiry could have been resolved in 2 minutes. I'm very disappointed.

Wow.🤩 Registered, etc. Problems, dear #Switzerland, can you still use the internet 🛜? @t Bern, the federal government is more clueless than most people in Germany 🇩🇪. I can leave too, no problem. 😉 …
