It's nice that the self-service area has long opening hours. But unfortunately, you can no longer buy any of their own products, only the selection from the cheese shop in Worb. They seem to have recently taken over the shop and changed a lot. That's a real shame.
I first heard about this cheese dairy and its cheese while I was in New York on business. A friend raved about the "Gotthelfkäse" cheese. Since then, I've enjoyed this and the other cheeses from Sumiswald time and time again. A wonderful selection of diverse, flavorful hard and soft varieties (Nonnenstolz, Gotthelf, Schlosskäse, Brie, Nouss, and many more). All homemade, perfect for cheese lovers.
We can't praise the unique Gotthelf cheese enough. The staff is always very friendly and helpful, and they're happy to let you sample it. The best place for Swiss cheese! Quality, freshness, and taste are 100% natural and guaranteed. They even offered delivery by email, which we're very grateful for.
Largest selection of diverse cheeses of absolutely top quality. Excellent raclette cheeses and various fondue mixes, which can be personalized upon request. Equally competent and very friendly sales staff at the counter.
