I go to the Celtor recycling center in Tavannes on Saturdays, the day access is free. On several occasions, I've encountered unpleasant and irritated staff who respond curtly, even rudely, to simple questions. I've been criticized for coming "often," even though there's no rule against coming on Saturdays, and I actually only go about once a month. One employee in particular behaved unacceptably, even yelling at me over a small piece of cardboard. It's regrettable, because this kind of attitude really discourages people from returning, but do we have other options for disposing of our bulky waste?
Very unfriendly staff. They don't greet you back or answer perfectly normal questions in an aggressive/annoyed tone. Unfortunately, this has happened to us several times here, which isn't the case at other collection points where you always encounter friendly and courteous staff. It certainly wouldn't hurt to train the staff on how to properly treat others.
Positive: Great center, great sorting. Negative: Saturday morning closing time is 11:30 am, but when we arrived, we were told they closed at 11:15 am. This is inconsistent with their website, or perhaps the staff chooses their own hours.
Welcoming and friendly staff on Saturday mornings if you follow the rules, as it's free. A word of advice to professionals or renovators who must show up during the week.
