Chämptner Wasserfall — 8623 Wetzikon, Switzerland

Really nice area for hiking, biking, dog walking and making a fire while in the seclusion the forest. Loads of nice and quite private places to make fire. The river is shallow and the water is refreshing - perfect for hot summer days, the dog loved it. There are many different trails in the forest in many directions leading to and from the main path. Not too crowded. We will definitely come back again.

An absolutely amazing place, even the way to get there is cool, lots of fire places and resting points. You can get there from below or above the warerfall, both ways worth the wile. It is especially nice during summer, as the river brings along cold water and the waterfalls create a mist of refraishing air, making hot temperatures endurable. There's also a bike trail leading along the river which is worth giving a rty.

We discovered this place by accident after visiting the Restaurant Rosinli. It was suppose to be just a short stop but it became the highlight of the day🤩 There are 2 Waterfalls, “fairy Houses” made out of wooden Trunks, little streams, Grill places,…the words can’t describe it all. You gotta see it for yourself. Suitable for Families😇it took us approx. 2h (with 2 Small children). A little Paradise within 30min from Zürich😎 RECOMMENDED✅

Lovely place in nature which is surprisingly close. Only negative point is if you want to go by car, there are only about 8 public parking spaces (parking meter). The business next door allows you to park if they don't have any functions (1chf per hour - trust system). The first thought the 1st waterfall was the main one, be sure to go further until the main one. You can carry on after that to and see an old watermill. There are many places you can have a wood fire and grill. Public toilets offered in the beginning.

I like this waterfall. Small one but very nice and easy to get to it. Belongs to a nice forest, what I recommend to walk around and there will be more waterfalls...
