An independent expert identified serious defects. Since the work was completed some time ago, no legal action could be taken. Wenger Fenster failed to respond to the expert's sobering assessment, even after we had already paid a considerable sum to have them replace several windows that also exhibited defects. Based on the independently confirmed defects and their subsequent lack of response, we cannot recommend this company.
We've had several Wenger windows (recommended by a carpenter), and they were actually fine. Apparently, however, the system had changed; everything was automated and there were no final inspections anymore...! This time, the glass was scratched; only the glass set was replaced. We had to install it ourselves, as it had been almost a year...?! The visible part of the fittings was no longer powder-coated. Wenger replied that this was new, but it didn't look great...! The tilt windows had new fittings with a minimal opening, but one of them was normal as usual, with practically identical formats, so it would work...! Then a tough marathon began for the rest, as we didn't want to accept it as it was. Eventually, we finally got new, "old" tilt-and-slide stays, but we had to replace them ourselves, which wasn't easy. For us, as loyal and dedicated Swiss customers, this is not Swiss service; we are disappointed that this is apparently how things are now. The statements from Wenger Windows are also irrelevant, which is a real shame.
The shock absorbers on my skylight failed after only 5 years. No warranty coverage. I received a response from customer service after almost 2 months. After 2 months, the replacement parts still haven't arrived. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the quality and quantity of customer service from Wenger-Fenster! (@Reply from owner: Order 240563.K)
