Nos alojamos en el hotel que está al lado de este restaurante. Si estás en la zona, ¡debes hacer el viaje para probar cualquiera de las muchas opciones de este menú! ¡No te decepcionarás! La comida era auténtica y deliciosa. Los ingredientes son frescos y porciones grandes, ¡así que ven con hambre! El servicio fue excelente, rápido y los propietarios estaban allí sirviendo y charlando con los clientes. Era un ambiente relajado y divertido donde cualquiera podía pasar un buen rato con familiares, amigos, citas o solo. No puedo decir suficientes cosas positivas sobre este lugar y experiencia.
Un restaurante tan bonito y acogedor. No teníamos reserva pero nos acomodaron. ¡La comida era auténtica y deliciosa! Son muy generosos con la ración de rostï. Me encanta el plato de salchichas de granjero. La fondue de vino blanco fue un buen complemento. Buena selección de cerveza suiza también. ¡También llegar aquí no es fácil para los turistas! Está cuesta arriba y sólo hay que conducir con cuidado y estar atento. Pero por lo demás, ¡la vista fuera de este restaurante es impresionante! Aceptan tarjeta pero prefieren efectivo.
Pendiente. Fantástico servicio y brillantes platos locales. Me gustaría recalcar que es local porque no encontrarás carnes, pizza, pasta o platos similares de fuera de la región. Sin embargo, hay un fantástico filete de cerdo con rosti, fondue, raclette y una variedad de salchichas servidas de varias maneras. El servicio es increíblemente amable y la vista al lago y a la vecina Brienz es absolutamente excepcional. Es posible que sea necesario hacer reservaciones durante la temporada alta. Logramos entrar desde la calle alrededor de las 6 p.m., pero cada mesa tenía reserva para las 7 y 8 p.m. Nos encantaría volver. Un gran restaurante.
Great food, great view, great atmosphere. What more could you ask for. Helpful staff, helped us with picking the right food not to overeat ourselves. The road to restaurant is quite funny as well. The goulash was great with good bread. Rösti was delicious, steak was cocked a little too much but was tasty. Bratwurst was good with great onion sauce, Kartofel salad was a just little too salty. Foundee was tasty with a lot of bread pieces to eat it :) Best part was the Nesselrode for the dessert, it was very tasty and the portion was surprisingly big! Great end of the evening!!
Delicious food. Friendly staff. Great location (parking free and has around 10 spaces). Very cosy environment. Amazing Swiss 🇨🇭 Experience. Perfectly-sized portions. Recomendable and will definitely return soon! Recommended Dishes: Rösti Natural, Raclette and Goulash
We had a lovely experience at a this cozy Swiss restaurant overlooking the stunning Brienz Lake. The view alone is worth the visit: calm waters framed by majestic mountains, creating a serene and picturesque backdrop for a meal. It seems to be a family-owned place, and that warmth really comes through in the service. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We ordered the raclette, and it was absolutely delicious—rich, comforting, and served with all the traditional accompaniments. It’s clear they take pride in their food and presentation. One thing to note: the kitchen closes quite early, at 8 PM, so it’s best to plan ahead if you’re hoping for a late dinner. Prices were surprisingly reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and the location. Overall, it was a memorable dining experience with great food, kind service, and unbeatable views. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Brienz area!
