Nos quedamos decepcionados después de nuestra visita. El venado llegó con las guarniciones equivocadas y el personal solo reconoció el error después de que le preguntamos. La porción de venado también era muy pequeña y el plato parecía bastante vacío. El entrecot no estaba muy caliente y el plato parecía aburrido con solo el risotto y el trozo de carne. El postre tenía demasiada crema. Esta calidad la espero de un restaurante normal, no de una posada rural como el Bären Dürrenroth. La relación precio-rendimiento no era aceptable. Nuestro camarero era competente pero no muy amable y parecía bastante molesto.

Today we went to the Bären restaurant for lunch. After a long wait, we were served by the owner, even though it wasn't very busy at 11:45. The waitstaff ignored us several times and served other customers. The food didn't match the menu description: chicken stroganoff with tomato sauce, which was very bland and the portion was too small. The breaded schnitzel was dark brown, overcooked, and dry. No one asked us if we enjoyed our meal because it was already too crowded. The staff also didn't have time to take our payment, so we waited a long time. Because of this, we didn't order coffee or dessert.

I highly recommend the Bären Dürrenroth restaurant. The restaurant's carefully designed furnishings and decor alone are worth a visit, as is the beautiful outdoor area – now in summer, full of flowers. Delicious, fresh, and high-quality regional cuisine, and the extremely friendly staff deserves special mention. I'd be happy to come back!
