Buena ubicación a 3 minutos de la estación, a 5 minutos de supermercados y tiendas. ¿Hotel de estilo antiguo?, habitaciones limpias y ordenadas, personal amable, solo que la habitación hace demasiado calor, necesita abrir la ventana por la noche, de lo contrario no puedo dormir.
¡Recomendamos encarecidamente este hotel! Cuando llegamos a Grindelwald en tren, estaba a menos de un minuto a pie. (¡unos 30 segundos!) También está enfrente de la zona donde hay muchos autobuses que van a las diferentes zonas de esquí y a otras pequeñas ciudades fuera de Grindelwald. Hay una tienda de alquiler de esquís a solo un par de puertas más abajo. Todo el personal del hotel que conocimos fue muy amable, muy amable y servicial. El hotel y las habitaciones son muy acogedoras y limpias. Tienen un restaurante encantador abajo. ¡Disfrutamos de un delicioso desayuno cada mañana! ¡Recomendamos encarecidamente alojarse en este hotel! También hay un supermercado muy bonito cerca, a sólo 2 minutos a pie. Hemos disfrutado muchísimo cada vez que hemos estado allí. ¡Es muy acogedor y hogareño! ¡Allí nos sentimos como en casa! ❤️

Definitely the best value hotel in Grindelwald. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is great and the hotel is extremely well located very close to the train station and bus station. When we checked out we rebooked again for next year. We’ve been to Grindelwald 10 times for both winter and summer holidays and have stayed in various hotels and the Central Wolter is our favourite. It’s the best all round in our opinion.
We went to Central Hotel Wolter restaurant for dinner. We ordered salad, pasta, fish, and steak. We expected the salad first, then pasta, and then the main dishes — this is standard practice. However, the male waiters brought all four dishes at once, seemed confused themselves, left, and then returned. Most of the food was cold except the pasta, and the salad that came with the fish was just a duplicate of the salad we already ordered. When I asked to speak to a manager, an older lady eventually came, but the young manager who then approached us was rude and dismissive. She claimed that “tour groups want all their food at once” and that we hadn’t requested the order to be served in sequence — ignoring that we are not a tour group, just two individuals. It felt like she was trying to put the blame on us instead of acknowledging their service failure. Overall, the experience was frustrating, the service was poor, and the way our complaint was handled was unacceptable. We were only charged for the pasta and steak because of the mistakes. I would not recommend this restaurant.
