El tren circula con frecuencia y es cómodo de viajar. Se detiene durante unos minutos en cada estación, por lo que no tienes que entrar en pánico al subir o bajar. Esta es la última parada de este tren. En la estación hay baños. Las colas son largas porque no hay muchos baños disponibles. Tampoco estaban muy limpios, pero no había otra opción. Eran de uso gratuito. Había un restaurante, pero estaba cerrado. La estación es accesible para personas en silla de ruedas. El acceso desde el tren hasta la estación es llano. Sin embargo, los caminos más allá de la estación son empinados y de grava. Hay un hotel que tiene un carrito eléctrico para llevar a sus huéspedes desde la cima hasta la estación, por lo que podría valer la pena llamarles para ver si pueden reservar un viaje. No había baños para discapacitados en la estación, pero sí en el hotel. No estoy seguro de si tienes que ser invitado para acceder a ellos.
La estación de tren era conveniente y estaba limpia, aunque curiosamente el boleto de regreso a Uitikon era más caro que nuestro viaje allí. Aún así, no había otra opción, así que seguimos adelante. En general, cumplió bien su propósito y los trenes están limpios y modernos.
On a beautiful day you can see Lake Zürich. There are several hiking lanes. 10 min walk to the top of Zurich. Has hotel and restaurant. Views are awesome. For 2 CHF you can climb to the top the structure for unobstructed views
Took the Uetlibergbahn from Zürich HB to Uetliberg station during a visit to Zürich in April 2023. Access to the Uetliberg hiking trails and Uetliberg Lookout Tower - Top of Zürich observation platform is a short walk from Uetliberg station. A restaurant is nearby. A hike from this part of the Uetliberg to Felsenegg is probably less than two hours.
I would say its a part of heaven .. its beautiful natural surroundings and panoramic views. From the top of the mountain, you can see the city of Zürich, the surrounding Alps, and the surrounding countryside. The mountain is covered in forests, meadows, and fields, and is home to a wide variety of plant and animal life. In the spring and summer, the mountain is lush and green, with wildflowers blooming everywhere. In the fall, the leaves on the trees turn golden and red, creating a beautiful contrast with the blue sky and the snow-capped Alps in the distance. In the winter, the mountain is blanketed in snow, creating a beautiful winter wonderland. Make sure to wear warm bring camera and enjoy the view.
