Attendez-vous à de longues files d'attente, en particulier à la descente. Alternativement, un sentier relativement raide d'1h30 peut être emprunté pour monter ou descendre.
Nous sommes arrivés avec un bus plein de monde. Je suppose que parce que je ne parle pas la langue, ils ont tous été emmenés en 30 minutes et j'ai été obligé d'attendre une heure et demie.
Bel établissement avec un personnel sympathique. La capacité du gondal n'est que de 8 personnes et pourrait vous faire attendre longtemps pendant les vacances et par beau temps, alors partez tôt.
Yes, one gondola with a maximum capacity of 8 people. Either arrive early or be prepared to wait. It's definitely worth it; the lake at the top is beautiful. There's also a charging station for electric cars with two charging points (max. 22 kW). The staff were very friendly and helpful on both days.
A cable car to a dreamlike hiking area. Whether it's the Glattalpsee, karst landscapes, or magnificent mountain peaks, every hiker will find something to enjoy here. And there are also great mountain huts for culinary delights. The cable car carries a maximum of 8 people every 30 minutes. At peak times, the cable car runs continuously. However, there is only one gondola, which can lead to very long waits (for the descent), especially in the late afternoon and in nicer weather. We ourselves had to wait over an hour for our descent. Of course, you can also hike down, but that also takes at least 1.5 hours. The prices for adults are 12 francs per trip and 24 francs for a round trip. So, there is no discount if you buy the return ticket together. At the Sali valley station, there are large parking lots and a bus stop (bus line 506 from Muotathal). However, it's a minibus, so bottlenecks can quickly arise there too. The staff is very friendly and clearly trying to overcome the technical bottlenecks (only one cabin) as smoothly as possible.
On nice days, expect longer waiting times. It's also rather expensive. We paid CHF 54.00 for 2 people + dog (round trip).
