Nous étions à un événement où Starfood avait un stand de nourriture. Nous avons observé une employée se rendre aux toilettes avec des gants jetables, puis revenir au stand sans se laver les mains et avec toujours les mêmes gants. Au départ, une confrontation directe sur nos préoccupations en matière d'hygiène n'a pas abouti (elle a dit qu'elle les changerait plus tard). Ce n'est qu'après l'intervention d'autres personnes qu'elle a retiré les gants. Et ce même employé s’est ensuite rendu derrière le stand de restauration pour préparer les burgers. L’hygiène est primordiale dans la manipulation des aliments et un tel comportement est totalement inacceptable. Notre tentative de contact avec l'entreprise est restée sans réponse.
Starfood currently operates a food stand at the Zug Magic water feature on the lake promenade. The food quality is simply poor and falls far short of their usual standards. Nachos for 9 CHF, of course, come from a bag and are served with a mere 1.5 tablespoons of sauce. Bottled drinks are served from the refrigerator, but that doesn't mean they're chilled. My beer was warm. A request for an exchange was met with an unfriendly refusal, and no refund was offered. The staff spoke a mix of German and English, but neither was sufficiently consistent or understandable. As a result, even with just a few customers ordering, a chaotic queue formed, leading to an even more chaotic food service.

WARNING! Starfood charges a 1.- deposit on the displayed price for their wristband payment system at the festival (I experienced this at Openair St. Gallen 2022) without providing a deposit token or informing me as a customer. They simply deduct a higher price. Unfortunately, I only noticed this after the festival when I checked my transactions online. Sure, 1 franc isn't much money for one person; but when you imagine how much money that adds up to over an entire festival... It's outrageous! I will never buy anything from Starfood again and advise everyone else against it.
