The hospitality here, high above Lake Lauerz with its views of the Mythen mountains, is exceptional. The cheese specialties are superb and can also be purchased to take away. If you order something, you can drive to the parking lot near the Obhäg Chapel. From there, it's about an hour's hike to the Wildspitz and, more importantly, the Gnipen. The views are absolutely breathtaking (truly!), and for geology enthusiasts, the site of the Goldau rockslide is a must-see.
