La terrasse de notre nouvel appartement penthouse (environ 100 m²) est devenue un joyau grâce à la planification et à la réalisation. Following careful planning with Christoph Lutz, we completed several visually appealing projects in 2017: a terrace renovation with Onsernone slabs and planting beds, a patio with Spanish quartzite, a pergola, pergola planting, water access, etc., with a total contract value of approximately CHF 200,000. Unfortunately, technical defects quickly became apparent. These included poor quartzite paving with discoloring and disintegrating grout, large water stains on the mediocrely laid Onsernone slabs, issues with the landscaping around the pergola, and a malfunctioning fountain drain. While management dismissed these defects as "botched work, where was the site manager?", they failed to provide any physical warranty services, stating that "such complaints are either ignored or handed over to a lawyer." Then, despite possessing a clear expert opinion and receiving approval from the conciliation board to take the case to court, years of stalling, broken promises, and finally, a settlement of only a fraction of the cost of the damage already rectified by other companies. Proposals for a final amicable settlement are ignored. Fair solutions with this company can likely only be achieved through legal action. Photos show the substandard work and the before-and-after results of the already completed professional reconstruction. And no, the argument "the others do a good job, but they're expensive" is not valid. As a consequence, we contracted other construction companies to renovate the forecourt and parking areas of our Bijewa AG. They did a perfect job and were approximately 30% cheaper than Zweifel Terrazza AG had quoted.
