We received consulting services from Smarti in connection with a company acquisition. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this firm. In particular, we received no advice, or very poor advice, regarding tax optimization (e.g., holding company structure) and repayment of the purchase price. While some points were meticulously examined, we were not informed about other important tax aspects. Especially since the company owner has a background in taxation, the hourly rate and the services provided did not match our expectations. However, the interaction was generally very friendly, and they consistently went the extra mile. Urgent matters were always handled promptly, even outside of office hours if necessary. I can imagine, though, that the Smarti team does a good job with accounting.
