Ho prenotato lì per un incontro commemorativo con un aperitivo e una cena. Erano avari di tutto, dal servizio clienti generale, alle buone maniere, all'empatia e alla disponibilità, al cibo e alle bevande. Dire che il cibo era mediocre è un eufemismo.

Eravamo lì con un gruppo di 20 persone, abbiamo ordinato in anticipo un menu fisso. Il servizio era cordiale ma goffo. Innanzitutto, un'insalata insipida. La portata principale era una bistecca di maiale con verdure, pasta e una discreta salsa di spugnole, ma questo non riscattava il ristorante. E tutto questo per cinquanta franchi a persona... Nella mia mensa aziendale costa dieci franchi e non è poi così peggio. Poi vennero i dolci, il vino, il caffè, ecc. Per inciso, il caffè era completamente imbevibile con un sapore chimico discutibile. Andava bene, ma in tutta coscienza non posso consigliarlo a quel prezzo.

Se il tuo amico vuole andarci due volte e ordina lo stesso piatto, deve essere buono! Ha scelto l'Appenzeller Cordon Bleu, che ha un sapore davvero delizioso. Avevo Rösti come contorno con la mia cotoletta piegata e ripiena. Questo non merita esattamente il massimo dei voti. Ma la carne sì!

We went for a game dinner and had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The food was very solid and well-prepared, the portions were generous, and the value for money was truly fair. The service was friendly, attentive, and pleasantly unfussy—just the right amount of time to enjoy a relaxed evening. Added to that is the very cozy ambiance, which invites you to feel at home. Overall, a highly recommended place for good food in a relaxed atmosphere.

A lovely little restaurant, oh, I hope no one's offended, I mean, places like this are becoming extinct, but it's really cozy. Very good food with lively service that doesn't seem stressed, but is friendly – that's an art that not many people have mastered anymore. We'll definitely go again.

Through CRS Getriebetechnik (Mr. Rüegg), we found our way to the Sonne restaurant in Hittnau – a real "hit" in Hittnau – for lunch. We were served by Ms. Nauer, a very nice and friendly waitress! Chef Mr. Schneider treated us to his butcher's cutlets with vegetables. It was divine!
