Amazing
Sophisticated ambiance, very well-maintained and modern, offering changing and interesting exhibitions.
I didn't like the art there. I wanted to find inspiration, but when I analyzed the art in detail, the people there just stared at me rudely. One of the exhibitions featured very ugly figures, and my 8-year-old daughter was very disturbed. I was disappointed. The House of Art has always been something special and inspiring for me, but now they've completely lost my trust. I hope for improvement. Gertrud

Experienced a very competent and engaging tour. Lots of interesting background information that you probably wouldn't find easily... What remains: Things happen in Uri, world-famous people are visiting and working, people whose work would probably remain almost always hidden from us without places like the Haus für Kunst!
Even smaller museums can showcase great things, but they don't have to. Visitors can experience art here, but they don't have to. The "but" itself becomes art. But you really must go!
