This place is a gem. We hiked around in winter and everywhere was closed. Luckily, we ended up here and had an amazing burger, soup, hot chocolate, and a nut croissant. Great food. Great service. Great view. Great time!

A very charming little restaurant. Unfortunately, the menu isn't very "modern"; vegetarians only get salad or a fried egg, but there are no vegan options. However, I found the cheese slice with bacon delicious ;-). Adding rösti would be a simple, inexpensive, and popular addition to the menu for vegans or people with allergies (gluten, possibly lactose, etc.).

A great place to stop for a bite to eat with friendly service. However, since I consider the parking fee (only available with a day pass for CHF 5) for a meal in the Stübli to be a rip-off, I will NOT VISIT this place again. It's a shame for such a beautiful location.
A very charming cross-country skiing café in Eigenthal, super friendly, delicious coffee and cake - what more could you want after cross-country skiing? Usually quite busy on weekends.
