The 20 minute walk to this three generation family restaurant was absolutely worth it. It was the end of their wild season, and I have to say, it was the best wild dinner I have ever had. Hidden in a peaceful valley near Mount Pilatus, away from everything. The freshly hunted wild menu was incredibly tasty and generous. Great selection of local Swiss wines, all fresh and regional. Really enjoyed it and will be back for sure! Merci and compliments to the whole team 👏
I was glad we found such a Swiss restaurant which does Not have cheese fondue on their menu but delicious local farmer’s recipes! Ordered a farmer’s steak and a mixed salad with sausage. The steak which was unbelievably tender and had abundant flavour. The sauce is no ordinary steak gravy but must be a secret recipe! I’m not a steak lover but after tasting a few bites from my partner’s plate, I decided to come back for this steak! The mixed salad with sausage is made of fresh vegetables which must have been marinated in vinegar and herbs by the restaurant as the veg was crispy and maintained original fragrant of veg. A great choice for a light diner. The restaurant is accessible only by foot as driving is not allowed on the road to the restaurant. The nearest parking is about 30 minutes walk away. The restaurant is located in the foot of picturesque mountains, peaceful and whispering quite.

super friendly staff👍👍👍 (what a pleasant surprise) Tasty coffee, I enjoyed a proper double espresso - what else😉 I just ordered a Swiss Ham&Cheese sandwich, delicious and very moderate in price. (in no comparison to „hollywood prices“ f the rest of Switzerland.) In recollection of my memory the rest of the menue was @ „normal“ prices👍
What a gem… food is amazing with love for details. Not the usual mountain hut food, this is really top notch. Highly highly recommended! We will be back!
Good service and tasty food, especially the Älplermagronen (mountain style pasta) for 2. German is no issue for me personally, but an English menu would be useful for tourists or visitors.
