After nine years as a reliable tenant on Rathausgasse in Glarus, I would like to share my experiences with RuRu Immobilien GmbH. Several incidents during the final phase of my tenancy left much to be desired: 1. Delayed notification of construction work We were only informed about extensive roof work after the scaffolding had already been erected on the facade. 2. Unauthorized entry to the apartment Despite a clear agreement that the apartment could only be entered after prior arrangement following move-out but before the official handover, this agreement was not honored. 3. Unreasonably long handover process The handover took 3.5 hours – partly because the property management company had changed and the apartment's condition was documented in great detail. However, many of these details were unrelated to the actual handover. Due to these issues, as well as the unprofessional manner of one of the employees, I cannot recommend renting an apartment from RuRu Immobilien GmbH. Sophie Oehring
Unacceptable behavior from a landlord; they demand things but don't deliver. I've been waiting for my security deposit for over three months.
Unfortunately, I've had a bad experience with this company. Administratively, they're a complete mess, so I ended up having to pay my neighbors' utility bills. The first time, I was given an in-person appointment to explain things. I was literally talked to death. The second time, I requested information in writing. Instead of an answer and an explanation, I received late fees and debt collection notices. As a landlord, you can certainly outsource work to RuRu Immobilien very cheaply. However, the bad reputation and dissatisfied tenants are practically guaranteed. Long story short: poor communication and administrative chaos.
This property doesn't care about anything, as long as the tenants are quiet. In the end, they blame everything on the tenants because they ignore everything. For example, laundry isn't possible in the building, there's no electricity over the weekend, and contacting the property is impossible. There was no building maintenance. The balcony couldn't be used for two years due to a broken shutter. The property was aware of the defects but didn't care. If you call, you get yelled at. People smoke marijuana in the building, and this wasn't addressed either, so I had to keep the windows closed all the time, even though I have two small daughters. My laundry card only cost 3-5 francs for three months, and then they even sue you. Unbelievable! Shame on you, Ruru Property!
I would not recommend RuRu Immobilien to anyone. They are very arrogant and pretentious. I wanted to inquire about an apartment, but they told me: "We will not rent an apartment to you!" Such real estate companies should have their management licenses revoked. They do not act in the best interests of the property owners.
