Courteous, helpful staff and in relation to the village size quite a large selection of shoes for men, women, and children. The merchandise changes with the seasons, and comes from all over Europe. I had the feeling that each pair was a carefully-considered personal choice of the proprietor, as opposed to “the usual suspects”. There is no pressure to buy or impatience with persons who just want to ask questions about the footwear. My brother-in-law and I bought the same pair of Robert’s of Tuscany (never heard of this maker before), a comfortable, lightweight dress shoe with lug soles that’s ideal for travelers who need to flexibly dress up or down. For Italian-made, it was a knockout on looks as expected but still roomy and comfortable for casual walking. At 230 ChF, we judged it a very good buy.
