I had the pleasure of spending four full days of lessons with Julien, who was an outstanding coach — kind, patient, and encouraging, while also gently pushing me beyond my comfort zone. Thanks to his expert guidance, my skiing improved significantly over the week. We skied in a small group of four, which allowed us to experience a wide variety of slopes and gain invaluable exposure and confidence across different conditions. My ability and confidence have grown enormously, and I now truly enjoy my skiing. I would highly recommend this company, and especially Julien, to anyone looking to develop their skills and get the most out of their ski lessons.

I would like to take a moment to share my sincere appreciation for my ski instructor, Anna Maria. I feel incredibly fortunate to have had her as my instructor, as she truly transformed my ski experience in Zermatt. Skiing has always been somewhat stressful for me due to fear, but with Anna Maria everything felt calm, safe, and enjoyable. Thanks to her guidance, I skied runs I never imagined I could manage, learned new techniques, discovered wonderful mountain restaurants, and gained a great deal of confidence on the slopes. Beyond being an outstanding and highly professional instructor, Anna Maria is also a truly delightful person — kind, polite, intelligent, and a pleasure to be around. I had a 3-day Adult Group Ski Lesson through Zermatters with Julien. Julien was an amazing instructor. Our group was a mix of high intermediate/advanced skiers. He did a great job of getting everyone out of their comfort zone by pushing them to try harder things. His tips and explanations were very helpful and he gave great feedback on things to work on. It never felt overwhelming, but rather the perfect amount of things to focus on for each technique. By the end of the three days, each member of the group was skiing better and had more confidence on all types of snow and difficulty of pistes. Julien was very attentive and went out of his way to share insights into Zermatt and the surrounding area. Next time I’m in Zermatt will be definitely be using Zermatters and requesting Julien as my instructor!

We are very impressed with the Zermatt Ski School, starting from our first contact via email. The team was very responsive and helpful. As beginners, we requested an instructor with the right personality for us, and they arranged for Mr. Beat to teach us. He is an expert and excellent instructor—patient, clear, and very easy to understand. My husband and son learned a lot from him. My husband even mentioned that he had studied skiing elsewhere before, but Beat is by far the best instructor he has ever had. We strongly recommend Zermatters and this instructor.

This is the second year in a row that I have used Zermatters’ private instructors. Both have been very good, but Peter Burch, my instructor today, was truly great. Very personable and fun to be with. I am a decent skier, but he made the corrections I needed. I will definitely use him again when we return next winter.
