My family rented skiis, boots and helmets for three days of skiing in Zermatt. Mattahorn Sports had great service and high end product. The fellas working were very courteous and provided local knowledge of the slopes and conditions. Thanks for making our Christmas vacation without worry or hassle. Great for mtb rental, solid bikes and great service. I admit getting flats is easy here so you should ask for a repair kit to put on your bike or get the mechanics number or WhatsApp if you’re on eSIM data only. You can call them and they’ll ride up to help repair. My experience: I got an enduro and had a great time, the bike was great and only got 2 flats, first one had to go back to the shop, the second one I was able to fix on the trail. Only got these flats because I was shredding from trockener steg, super rocky trails. Otherwise had a great time and the mechanics were very helpful and spoke fluent English.
We hired two sets of skis, boots and poles. Met 3 of the staff. All very friendly and helpful. Got seen to quickly and helped measuring feet. No issues at all. They reassured us if anything not right just come back. My feet hurt a bit after first day so they changed boots without any delay or fuss at all. Returning the equipment was again trouble free, friendly and fast. Many thanks for making this part of the trip hassle free.
We had a great experience renting from here. Louise was very kind and helpful! She fitted us for boots, skis, and poles. And she even gave mountain recommendations. Very smooth pick up and drop off process! Highly recommend.
Highly recommend the place for quality of rentals and service. They were very accommodating to match our skill level with the equipment. The Argentinian guy who helped us was great and had great recommendations for the slopes.
Would recommend for hiring ski equipment while in zermatt! We got a good deal booking online beforehand. The two guys that work in the rental bit are fantastic - I have never skid before so wasn’t too sure what I needed etc but they helped with everything and were very friendly and cool. No issues when returning equipment - all very easy :)
