I can’t recommend this ski rental shop enough! Especially if you’re traveling with kids! We rented gear for our whole family (two adults and two children under 10), and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. The staff (Julien specifically) was incredibly friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. He took the time to properly fit everyone’s boots, skis, and poles, making sure the kids’ equipment was comfortable and safe—no rushing, even though it was a busy day. The equipment was in great condition, well maintained, freshly tuned, and modern. Prices felt fair, especially for the quality and the hassle-free service. We were in and out quickly, which is a huge plus with kids in tow. If you’re looking for a stress-free rental spot that’s genuinely great with families, this is the place. This is the place to go for ski boots. Based on my own decades of experience, I have never found a better bootfitter than Tim at Julen Sport. They have the widest selection of boots I have seen and importantly Tim knows how each boots fit in all the different wats possible. His approach is sound - the smallest boot necessary. He will work with you repeatedly to adjust a boot to your foot. The shop has all the necessary tools of course and the team doesn’t end with Tim. It feels like a boot factory!

Best place for snowboarders in Zermatt! A strap on my binding broke while cruising on the glacier, so I stopped by at Julen. Young gun Kevin went above and beyond, checked different options, and fixed me up with a replacement strap. Kudos to him! 😊 Super competent, solution-oriented, and genuinely helpful staff. Hands down the best snowboard shop in Zermatt. Five stars out of five! 🙏🏻

They have a great selection of snowboard rentals for the discerning border. I ordered the premium package with a 10% discount for booking online ahead of time. Staff was knowledgeable ended up with a very nice high performance Jones board.

This is THE place to rent gear in Zermatt, hands down. Super friendly staff and the gear is top notch. After the airlines lost our luggage, Julen's had everything from clothing (jackets, plants, helmet, goggles etc) to equipment. Super friendly staff (mainly delt with Mikel) and the gear is top notch. My family had a huge selection of practically brand-new snowboards and snowboard boots were right out of the box! We rented everything for 6 days and as our luggage began to arrive (mainly clothing), they were flexible with returns. We even learned a little about the history of Julen, Zermatt and the local liquors!
