We were pleased to find that we could buy meat more cheaply at the outlet in Schlieren. We were curious about the quality. First, we tried your pork steaks (6-pack). We fried them in three batches of two. Despite being extremely careful each time, they came out of the pan with a lot of bite and a bit dry compared to other butchers and even large retailers. What kind of meat do you use at the outlet? I also bought a 1 kg piece of beef "Diamond," which looked very nice. I was told that this cut comes from the hindquarters of the cow. After searing it for 3 minutes on each side, we put it in the oven for 1 3/4 hours at 80 degrees Celsius, with a target internal temperature of 55 degrees Celsius. When we cut into it, we were a bit shocked: every single slice had several elongated, 1 cm holes, or rather, slits. We've never seen anything like it! The meat was quite dry. What kind of meat is this? Where does this cut come from on the cow? What is the meaning of the unfamiliar term "diamond"? Please explain. I'm somewhat disappointed with Geiser. On the positive side: your saleswoman was very nice.

Unfortunately, it's gotten expensive 😔. Other stores offer the same quality for less. It's a shame I can't afford it anymore 😔. Of course, they'll use the excuse that everything has gotten more expensive. Increases of up to 400% are simply unjustifiable 🤷‍♀️
