Es un placer hacer una reseña del Curso de Tallado de Cucharas de Álvaro. No hay duda de que el hombre, la ubicación y el campo merecen cada uno 5 de 5 estrellas. Álvaro te lleva a una cabaña en lo alto de las montañas y te presenta el antiguo arte del tallado en madera. Proporciona la cantidad justa de orientación para que el producto final sea su propia creación, algo para llevarse a casa como un hermoso recuerdo del majestuoso paisaje y la calidez de otros humanos.
Asistí a un taller de talla de madera el año pasado por recomendación de un amigo y disfruté muchísimo la experiencia de principio a fin. La reserva fue fácil, el espacio es encantador y la cálida hospitalidad y amable orientación de Álvaro hicieron que todo fuera memorable. Recomiendo encarecidamente reservar un taller, es ideal para individuos y grupos que buscan una experiencia atractiva pero meditativa y segura.
¡Me encantó mi clase de tallado de cucharas! Álvaro se tomó su tiempo enseñándome y terminé con una cuchara preciosa. ¡Definitivamente lo recomiendo para locales o visitantes cuando necesiten un descanso de la recreación en las montañas!
We had such a great spoon decoration workshop at Alvaro's Gallery! The location is just perfectly located in the center of Engelberg and has a wonderfully charming and inviting atmosphere. We started with a short introduction to the carving and coffee coloring techniques and then started with practicing our patterns on paper. When we felt ready, we could start with drawing on our wooden spoons and start the decoration process. After tracing our decorations with a knive, we had to rub coffee into the cuts to make them more visible. It was a lot of fun to have a creative session together and learn about the techniques. We were all super happy with the results and were even sad that we did not have time to stay longer to improve our designs further. I would definitely recommend this workshop, but can imagine that Alvaro's other workshops are also worth to try out! He did a great job in showing us how to work and was very easy to communicate with so we could tailor the workshop to our needs and time.
Alvaro offered us, me and my 7 year old godchild, wonderful two hours of carving. He accompanied the boy very attentive, how he works with the knife and showed him skills. Proudly the boy presented at home his self carfed mushroom and his newly learned skills! I also enjoyed the for me new handcraft. The price is more than generous. Thank you Alvaro! 🙏
Great experience carving a beautiful spoon from from a chunk of quality wood. A lot of work over hours went into creating this, it was very humbling and beautiful =) I highly recommend all workshops from Alvaro!
