C’est un plaisir de donner votre avis sur le cours de sculpture à la cuillère d’Álvaro. Il ne fait aucun doute que l’homme, l’emplacement et le parcours méritent chacun 5 étoiles sur 5. Álvaro vous amène dans une cabane en hauteur dans les montagnes et vous initie à l'art ancien de la sculpture sur bois. Il fournit juste ce qu'il faut de conseils pour que le produit final soit votre propre création, quelque chose à emporter chez vous comme un beau souvenir du paysage majestueux et de la chaleur des autres humains.

J'ai assisté à un atelier de sculpture sur bois l'année dernière sur la recommandation d'un ami et j'ai vraiment apprécié l'expérience du début à la fin. La réservation a été facile, l'espace est charmant et l'hospitalité chaleureuse et les conseils aimables d'Alvaro ont rendu le tout très mémorable. Je recommande fortement de réserver un atelier, c'est idéal pour les individus et les groupes à la recherche d'une expérience engageante, méditative et sûre.

We had such a great spoon decoration workshop at Alvaro's Gallery! The location is just perfectly located in the center of Engelberg and has a wonderfully charming and inviting atmosphere. We started with a short introduction to the carving and coffee coloring techniques and then started with practicing our patterns on paper. When we felt ready, we could start with drawing on our wooden spoons and start the decoration process. After tracing our decorations with a knive, we had to rub coffee into the cuts to make them more visible. It was a lot of fun to have a creative session together and learn about the techniques. We were all super happy with the results and were even sad that we did not have time to stay longer to improve our designs further. I would definitely recommend this workshop, but can imagine that Alvaro's other workshops are also worth to try out! He did a great job in showing us how to work and was very easy to communicate with so we could tailor the workshop to our needs and time.

Alvaro offered us, me and my 7 year old godchild, wonderful two hours of carving. He accompanied the boy very attentive, how he works with the knife and showed him skills. Proudly the boy presented at home his self carfed mushroom and his newly learned skills! I also enjoyed the for me new handcraft. The price is more than generous. Thank you Alvaro! 🙏

Great experience carving a beautiful spoon from from a chunk of quality wood. A lot of work over hours went into creating this, it was very humbling and beautiful =) I highly recommend all workshops from Alvaro!
