J'ai découvert le restaurant Rossmoos un peu par hasard – même si je n'habite pas loin – et j'ai été agréablement surpris. La serveuse était très sympathique et accueillante, vous faisant sentir immédiatement comme chez vous. Ce qui m'a particulièrement frappé, c'est la façon affectueuse dont la nourriture est préparée et servie. Chaque assiette est préparée avec beaucoup de soin et d'attention aux détails, ce qu'on ne voit pas partout. Même au moment de servir, vous remarquerez l'accent mis sur la qualité et la touche personnelle. La nourriture était délicieuse, fraîche et joliment présentée. Le rapport qualité/prix est absolument parfait, juste et adapté à ce que vous obtenez. Le restaurant est petit et confortable, pas surpeuplé et agréablement calme – parfait pour un repas détendu. Une très belle trouvaille – j'adorerais revenir ! 🍽️😊

Rossmoos is a small but excellent, popular restaurant in Emmen. The portions are generous and the dishes are of high quality. It's rather expensive, but I'm happy to overlook that because everything else is just right.

I would never go there again. On a warm, sunny April day in 2025, the owner was too lazy to let us onto the lovely terrace. Two of the five of us ordered a salad. It was inedible, with a few brown leaves. We complained, but they completely ignored us. Not even a coffee as an apology. The five of us certainly won't be coming back.

The restaurant near Emmen's sports fields offers excellent, down-to-earth cuisine. For me, the various Cordon Bleu dishes are the highlight. Whether spicy with chili, rustic with bacon and mountain cheese, or traditional with Buurehamme and Gruyère, raclette, or Appenzeller, you're sure to find one that's delicious. Mili, the owner, has been running the restaurant independently for years; before that, she was the general manager. She's a warm-hearted person who listens to her guests' little worries, and she has a wit, sense of humor, and a hearty laugh. I'll definitely go back.
