Great experience and service!!! Got a flat tire at the top of First mountain and they were eager to help. They said to leave the bike locked up there and to rent another bike from another company so I could enjoy the ride down and they covered the cost. 👌🏽 Also couldn’t ride the second day due to a fall and swollen elbow, and they refunded that amount as well without question. Highly recommend using this teams advice and services. Not the greatest experience from ‘Inter-sport Grindelwald ’ across the street however.

*the shop is not suited for skilled mountain bikers!* In short, we had a very bad experience, service wise and bike quality wise. -Bike-wise this is our experience: We rented 2 full-suspension E-MTB bikes. One of the bikes functioned as expected but mine had many problems some were tolerable others were extremely un-acceptable. 1. The bike shop doesn't adjust the suspension according to the rider, so these were basically useless, especially on downhills. 2. The rear tyre was extremely worn out, skidding and sliding most of the ride when on a downhill and using the rear brakes. 3. The front brakes make extremely high noises when braking on high speeds and they dont brake well on high speeds. I suggested that they were worn out aswell, the seller disagreed because he tested them - on the road outside... Which any rider knows that you cant test the quality of the brakes on a straight line. 4. The gears and shifting was clunky and it needs adjustment, the gear would sometimes not switch, or it would change to a different gear mid-ride without me touching it. 5. The battery drained quickly - a sign of a worn out battery: the bike was driven uphill for about 7 km on the lowest setting, sometimes rising to the medium setting for extremely hard hills, yet it still drained out quickly. For reference, the 2nd bike was running on medium most of the time and it had drained about 20% of the battery for the same ride. -Service-wise, this was our experience: First and foremost, the shop loves their contract, which *spoiler* is a customer detterent when you tell the shop that something is wrong and instead of trying to help or admit any wrong-doing, they point to the contract and say were not liable. Okay, now that is out of the way, the service was nice *pre-rent* after that: 1.mid ride, the shop forgot to give me a special charging cable because my battery belonged to shimano while all the chargers were bosch. This was the least of my concerns because people forget things and this isnt a huge issue and the shop promised us an extra day because we had to cut our ride short. 2. Yet when we came back to the shop, the really bad service came. We explained to the owner all the problems we faced with the bike (what i mentioned above), and all we recieved as an answer was chuckling from the shop owner and occasional words like 'unbelievable' whenever we raise a concern. 3. The entire encounter was extremely unpleasant, we felt like we were made out to be liars or at the least exaggerators. There were a few occasions when mid sentence the shop owner would speak to another employee in german and they would both laugh which felt quite insulting. After the encounter we decided it was best to get a refund and leave - which is what happened. Renters beware!!
