Abbiamo avuto una delle esperienze di soggiorno più piacevoli in questo gioiello di hotel storico. Il personale era attento, presente, benevolo, premuroso, tutto era rilassante. Il menu di 4 piatti al Parkrestaurant era delizioso, abbiamo cenato due volte. Sentivamo che ci fosse una mentalità generale di mettere tutti a proprio agio... certo tutto questo ha un costo, ma eravamo felici di contribuire al mantenimento di uno dei posti più belli della Svizzera. Tutta la nostra gratitudine va all'impegno umanistico del signor Weber e oggi della signora Weber che hanno salvato questo luogo dalla demolizione e si sforzano di mantenerlo puro e autentico in modo che tutte le generazioni future possano godere del magico spirito universale del luogo, dell'edificio stesso e delle spettacolari cascate e della natura circostante. Fate un salto indietro nel tempo entrando nel ristorante di questo hotel della belle époque splendidamente conservato. Qui potrete pranzare con una vista mozzafiato sulla cascata di Giessbach, seguito da un caffè sulla terrazza con vista panoramica sul Brienzersee e sulle montagne. Il menu è piuttosto limitato, il cibo nella media e caro, ma l'ambiente nel suo insieme e il servizio cordiale lo rendono un'esperienza indimenticabile.
Un buon ristorante dove puoi mangiare un boccone accanto a una splendida cascata e uno splendido lago. È vicino a Interlaken sulla strada per Lucerna e, anche se il cibo non è perfetto, l'intero ambiente con i dintorni è semplicemente mozzafiato. Un luogo perfetto per fermarsi durante un'escursione sulle montagne svizzere.
I stayed at the hotel for a couple nights and had dinner here. The restaurant has an excellent atmosphere in front of the waterfall. The foods were decent and service is good.
First of all this is one of the most beautiful places in Switzerland, however....the service, food selection and atmosphere has degraded to the point that at best, it is little more than an American burger joint experience masquerading as the high quality Swiss cuisine that it once was. It has all the high prices that would justify something nice, but none of the service. You can expect to seat yourself and have the dirty dishes from the prior client there in front of you for your entire meal unless you hijack a waiter that is passing by and physically put it on their tray. You have to go up and wait in line like a fast food joint and pay for the food before it is delivered. You drinks will be ready to be served and sit at the bar for 15mins, your food will be delivered uncooked and not be very good. They only have a handful of ketchup bottle and they are SHARED among clients, so when the table at the other end of the restaurant wants ketchup, the waiter will come and take your bottle away.Do not waste your money on this place. Enjoy the view, save your funds and pack a picnic!
I stayed at the hotel and ate here for dinner. The meal was delicious and the service was very attentive. It cost about 80 CHF for one person.
