Questo è un posto davvero unico in cui soggiornare. L'attrazione di soggiornare qui non è la camera o le strutture (sebbene siano molto pulite e più che adeguate). Il motivo per cui rimani qui è che puoi avere Grindelwald First essenzialmente TUTTO…
Abbiamo scelto di soggiornare in hotel per il nostro weekend (venerdì/sabato) ed è stata la decisione migliore di sempre (2 persone). Anche se ho potuto sciare solo per poco tempo e venerdì mi sono infortunato al ginocchio, cosa che ha cambiato tutto il programma del sabato, è stato molto piacevole trascorrere del tempo nei giardini intorno all'hotel e sulla terrazza mentre il mio compagno andava a sciare. Anche l'esperienza di restare lassù dopo la chiusura delle piste è unica nel suo genere, così come quella di svegliarsi prima che arrivino tutti gli altri. Tutti i membri del team erano incredibilmente gentili, spensierati e disponibili. Guardarli interagire con la banda locale di gracchi alpini in modo gentile la dice lunga anche su di loro: è stato fantastico da vedere, inoltre gli uccelli stessi sono piuttosto divertenti. Il servizio della cena era molto più di quanto ci aspettassimo e il cibo era molto gustoso: l'insalata mi ha rubato il cuore. La colazione a buffet è un modo perfetto per iniziare la giornata in modo lento e confortevole con una varietà di cibi tra cui scegliere, inoltre il tè Sirocco che hanno è assolutamente fantastico: ne ordinerò una scatola o due. La nostra camera (8) era accogliente e calda (1 letto matrimoniale + 2 letti singoli). Il suono non sembra provenire molto dalla sala da pranzo/bar, solo qualche rumore sporadico dovuto al servizio o alla manutenzione nelle vicinanze, ma si calma molto prima delle 23:00. Anche i piumini Dawn sono incredibilmente comodi e vorrei aver chiesto informazioni sul marchio perché ne amerei uno per me. Le strutture sono pulite e ben tenute, sia quelle dedicate agli ospiti dell'hotel che quelle pubbliche. Un'area per il picnic dove puoi mangiare il tuo cibo è abbastanza grande e puoi anche segnare un posto accanto al riscaldatore. C'è una stanza dedicata anche per tutta la tua attrezzatura da sci e i tuoi bagagli, e ci sono alcuni armadietti (2 CHF) che puoi usare per i tuoi oggetti di valore. Nel complesso siamo soddisfatti del nostro soggiorno e consigliamo vivamente di provarlo!
È una giornata di neve. Sembra bellissimo. Il ristorante era pieno ma abbiamo trovato posto. Il cibo era gustoso. Ottimo servizio e cibo arrivato rapidamente. Persone molto gentili. Vai e divertiti?
My only regret about visiting this place is that I didn’t realize there was a hotel up here. Staying overnight with these views? That’s the dream. Right after you finish the famous “first walk,” there’s this restaurant waiting for you. And wow—the view is just unreal. You’re sitting right there in the middle of the Swiss Alps, with peaks everywhere you look. I went for the beef stew and it was the perfect choice—super fresh, tender, and just what you want after walking around in the mountain air. And yes, they’ve got beer! Honestly, sitting outside with a drink and that scenery… it’s one of those moments you just don’t forget. If you’re heading up this way, definitely plan to eat here. And maybe look into the hotel option—because trust me, you’re going to want to stay longer.
For an unforgettable lunch in the Alps, Berggasthaus in Grindelwald is exceptional. The food was extraordinary, and the house wine perfectly complemented the meal. Considering the quality and the breathtaking, impeccable mountain view, the price–quality ratio is absolutely worth it. A special thank you to Ruxi, who was incredibly friendly, took time to talk with us, and gave excellent recommendations. Thanks to her, we tried the Swiss cheese fondue — and it was wow, truly superior to anything you can find in town or nearby. The entire staff was very kind and always available, making our lunch a truly memorable experience. Highly recommended.
We didnot stayed at hotel we just had lunch here, and our dear Lara arranged a lovely table for us despite the crowd – a very elegant table in the corner – and helped us choose our food. We had the Bio Angus Burger and Tranchierte Pouletbrust, both were delicious, thanks to Lara and her kindness she was very helpful and would also like to give a special thank you to Julian; his hospitality, his smiling face, and his love for Turks made us very happy.
