Posto perfetto per un breve soggiorno. Molto pulito, comodo e confortevole. Abbiamo prenotato una camera per 2 con letti a castello che era molto bella. Sono inoltre presenti una cucina in comune, una zona pranzo, uno stendibiancheria e una lavanderia. La cosa migliore è la meravigliosa vista dal balcone.
Posizione davvero bellissima. Personale cordiale e disponibile. Attrezzature per cucinare relativamente buone, tuttavia i coltelli sono incredibilmente smussati, quindi fai attenzione perché può essere davvero pericoloso da usare se non fai attenzione. | Abbastanza costoso per quello che è, ma è proprio così che è la zona.
Ho davvero apprezzato il mio soggiorno al Valley Hostel e mi piacerebbe tornarci un giorno. Un posto così accogliente e conveniente a Lauterbrunnen! È a pochi passi dalla stazione principale e molto vicino alle cascate Staubbach, alla famosa chiesa e ad altri famosi luoghi fotografici. Il bagno in comune era perfettamente pulito e senza alcun problema. La cucina è completamente attrezzata, ma quando dicono che chiude alle 22, lo pensano davvero. Ho provato a cucinare un po' dopo le 10 e in realtà il fornello si è spento. La stanza era molto calda. Anche se fuori sul balcone faceva molto freddo, dentro era bello e accogliente. Il check-in e il check-out sono stati facili e fluidi. Ho richiesto in anticipo una camera con vista sulle cascate di Staubbach e hanno davvero esaudito il mio desiderio. La vista era perfetta. Quando mi sono svegliata la mattina e ho visto il panorama mozzafiato dal mio balcone, ho quasi pianto lacrime di gioia. Esperienza assolutamente straordinaria!
One of the best hostels we stayed at in Europe! Perfectly located on the main street, close to the train station, restaurants, cafes, Coop supermarket, and the stunning Staubbach Falls. Super clean, well-organised, and very comfortable rooms with amazing mountain views. Friendly staff, easy check-in, and great facilities like laundry and kitchen. We’ll definitely be back!
Value for money accommodation. Near the station with a great view of the waterfall. Kitchen and bathroom facilities were excellent. They have washing and drying facilities for laundry and costs 5 fracs each. Avoid the breakfast. For 8 CHF it's not worth it. Better to cook your own or buy something at the near by COOP.
The rooms are clean and comfortable, I was debating whether to share my experience with the person at the reception (a man) who, because my English is not very good, had no patience with me at all from the first moment, interrupted me many times in the middle of what I was talking about and also raised his tone at me when I first arrived at the hostel and asked for the second time where the room where the luggage was located. Apart from the not very pleasant experience with this person (he is bald and I think he wears glasses), the rooms themselves are fine. There is a problem with the gas in the kitchen, a lot of people had trouble turning it on, but I come from the world of kitchen and food, so I was able to help them, this is not a joke, this is reality. The kitchen is very small but you can manage.
