Tolles Essen und toller Service – von der Vorspeise bis zum Dessert wird alles in der Küche zubereitet (außer vielleicht dem Wein ;)). Gastfreundlicher Gastgeber, der sehr herzlich war. Wir haben sowohl Fisch als auch Steak gegessen und die Qualität der Gerichte war hervorragend.
Das in der Nähe des Sees gelegene Restaurant ist eine wunderschöne Entdeckung und bietet zwei verschiedene Atmosphären. Eines mehr lässig, eins mehr geschäftlich-gastronomisch. Die Speisekarte bietet viele Fischgerichte, aber auch Fleisch wird serviert.
Hervorragend geeignet für ein großartiges Abendessen im Schweizer Stil!

I had the pleasure of dining at Restaurant Ilge and enjoyed every minute in this well-appointed and welcoming place. The meal was excellent. I ordered the filets de perche meunière and rognons de veau, both prepared with care and wonderful balance. The white wine served as an apéritif complemented the dishes perfectly. The owner was friendly and made me feel welcome from the start. The chef cooks with visible passion, reflected in the beautifully arranged vegetables and the precise execution of each dish. Everything was delicious and truly memorable. I can recommend this restaurant for any occasion. After the meal, it is worth taking a stroll through the charming town of Twann or sitting by the lake, which at this time of year is peaceful and relaxing. The restaurant is easy to reach by train from Bern or many other places, and in summer the boat service is a pleasant alternative.
