The room was clean and worked for my needs. Actually the hotel, in general, was very clean. Considering it's located outside of Zurich, the train is conveniently located and easy to navigate. The service was impeccable! Each staff member that I encountered was thoughtful and friendly. They suggested ideal places to for me to visit during my stay. They even ensured that I had detailed directions to each location. Unfortunately, I had a debacle with my luggage. The staff was empathetic and went above and beyond to support me through my challenges. I was extremely appreciative of their kindness and willingness to ensure that I was comfortable. I'd definitely stay there again!
first of all ı have to say the housekeeping was excellent.They made our room very tidy even at 9.00 am.Very clean,and very cost effective hotel.The breakfast was olso well enough,open buffet with very fresh fruits.Hotel was very close to rapperswil train station(40 minutes away the Zurich airport).
The hotel is modern and stylish. The room is clean and comfortable. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast area is very cozy, and food quality is good.
Being a Bonvoy member I wisely chose the Moxy in Rapperwil. It was a great price for a mid-week, peaceful stay and from the point of entering we felt rested and welcomed. Jenna at the front desk was wonderful and had made sure personalize our room on the 6th floor with my name on the mirror and a beautifully written welcome card from the staff. The gym was wonderful and so was the outside terrace. The bedding was comfortable and the room size one of the largest Moxy rooms I have stayed in. As one knows, the lobby also serves as a bar and it was none other than the fun staff member Rafael who continued to make us the best gin tonics made with 47 Monkeys as we played several games of chess. We will absolutely stay here again and loved the view, the rest and kindness of this special property.
Nice location, but I found the hotel a bit sketchy. While it looks nice, for a regular to the Marriott branding, this hotel falls short. 1) the beds are most definitely not Marriott branded beds. They're much more thin, unsupportive, and firm (Not something I can say about other Moxy hotels I've stayed at). 2) The parking is very small and quite expensive when you compare to cheaper parking rates in Zurich. The hotel is pretty, and the rooms are well laid out and clean. The balcony on the top floor has a great view. This hotel missed the mark for regular customer service and satisfaction during my stay. However location and the physical hotel are 5/5.
The hotel is located approx 10 to 15mins walk from Rapperswil-Jona Station. There is a local bus you can take to the hotel but as we arrived late in the evening we walked which can be a little tiring if handled with luggage. Overall, the …
