An exceptional dining experience from start to finish. Oberer Mönchhof delivers refined Swiss cuisine with precision, balance, and clear culinary confidence. I started with the Entenleber, which was outstanding and perfectly prepared, rich yet elegant, and beautifully balanced by the accompanying elements. The flavors were clean and harmonious, allowing the quality of the ingredient to shine without feeling heavy. For the main course, the Rindfilet was cooked to perfection: tender, full of flavor, and paired with a sauce that was deep, structured, and expertly reduced. Every component on the plate had a purpose, creating a composed and satisfying dish. Beyond the food, the atmosphere is calm and intimate, and the service is attentive, professional, and well-timed throughout the evening. Considering the level of cuisine, execution, and service, the overall value is excellent for Zurich fine dining. A restaurant that truly understands quality, restraint, and consistency. Was a quiet Monday in Zurich town. Just finished out lindt tour and chance upon this wonderful restaurant. "Oberer Manchoh is a fantastic find! The location is absolutely beautiful, and the food is even better. I had the foie gras, which was cooked to perfection. While I missed the cranberry sauce, it was still incredibly delicious. The steak was also outstanding. Highly recommend!"

This is a very nice traditional swiss house with amazing views to the lake Zurich that has been renovated. The menu is a one pager with several starters and several main dishes, with all kinds of flavor combinations. And they have a closed price for a 2 starters, a main and a dessert (drinks not included). The food was excellent: very well cooked and nicely presented. To be honest is the first time in 10 years that i see foie (duck liber) offered in a restaurant, almost no swiss person i know has ever heard of foie or even paté. Id like to remark that it's not the type of restaurant I would go any given weekend, since its very modern and creative, for me is more like a "special occasion" type of restaurant. The service was nice, although a tad slow. The starters took at least 15min to come, and from the second starter to the maim it took around 25min. The price is high, but you won't find this kind of food in many places, with so many well-thought, properly cooked, modern recipes.
One of the best experience I've ever had. The food was incredebly good, so the people, always nice and ready to help you enjoy of the experience. We really enjoyed the dinner and hopefully we will come back.
