Una experiencia gastronómica excepcional de principio a fin. Oberer Mönchhof ofrece refinada cocina suiza con precisión, equilibrio y clara confianza culinaria. Comencé con el Entenleber, que estaba excelente y perfectamente preparado, rico pero elegante y bellamente equilibrado por los elementos que lo acompañaban. Los sabores eran limpios y armoniosos, permitiendo que la calidad del ingrediente brillara sin sentirse pesado. Para el plato principal, el Rindfilet se cocinó a la perfección: tierno, lleno de sabor y combinado con una salsa profunda, estructurada y reducida por expertos. Cada componente del plato tenía un propósito: crear un plato compuesto y satisfactorio. Más allá de la comida, el ambiente es tranquilo e íntimo, y el servicio es atento, profesional y oportuno durante toda la velada. Teniendo en cuenta el nivel de cocina, ejecución y servicio, el valor general es excelente para la buena mesa de Zurich. Un restaurante que realmente entiende de calidad, moderación y coherencia. Fue un lunes tranquilo en la ciudad de Zurich. Acabo de terminar el recorrido de Lindt y encontré este maravilloso restaurante. "Oberer Manchoh es un hallazgo fantástico. El lugar es absolutamente hermoso y la comida es aún mejor. Comí foie gras, que estaba cocinado a la perfección. Aunque extrañé la salsa de arándanos, todavía estaba increíblemente delicioso. El bistec también estuvo excelente. ¡Lo recomiendo encarecidamente!"

This is a very nice traditional swiss house with amazing views to the lake Zurich that has been renovated. The menu is a one pager with several starters and several main dishes, with all kinds of flavor combinations. And they have a closed price for a 2 starters, a main and a dessert (drinks not included). The food was excellent: very well cooked and nicely presented. To be honest is the first time in 10 years that i see foie (duck liber) offered in a restaurant, almost no swiss person i know has ever heard of foie or even paté. Id like to remark that it's not the type of restaurant I would go any given weekend, since its very modern and creative, for me is more like a "special occasion" type of restaurant. The service was nice, although a tad slow. The starters took at least 15min to come, and from the second starter to the maim it took around 25min. The price is high, but you won't find this kind of food in many places, with so many well-thought, properly cooked, modern recipes.

One of the best experience I've ever had. The food was incredebly good, so the people, always nice and ready to help you enjoy of the experience. We really enjoyed the dinner and hopefully we will come back.
