Small local grocery store in Oetwil an der Limmat. Convenient for daily essentials, but the selection is quite limited. Good for quick stops, but not ideal if you’re looking for variety. Staff is friendly and helpful

Avoid this Volg! The staff is listless and unfriendly. They were out of bread by 2:20 pm, and they didn't greet me, they ignored me! Eventually, the cashier threw some loaves of bread into the oven... I should have waited 10 minutes... terrible staff. Overpriced goods. To top it all off, the same cashier at the checkout threw the heavier items on top of the potato chips! Then there was no goodbye... the woman was stressed... TERRIBLE store

Great opening hours. Great shop. I prefer small village shops; they remind me of the good old days when you couldn't have everything. Just be grateful for once. Keep it up!

I don't know what the Volg branch in our village is thinking. You'd think a village shop would be close to the residents, but not at the Volg in Oewtil. There's always different staff. The manager hasn't been seen in ages. Now there's a wannabe boss who's very unfriendly and yells at her staff in front of customers – that's unacceptable. She's absolutely no help at all. It's a shame for a village shop that depends on the people in the village.

The protective measures are standardized, so Volg meets the same requirements as any other store: disinfectant, social distancing markers, and a sneeze guard at the checkout. Otherwise, I have no complaints; the staff are polite and know where everything is. I've only had positive experiences so far. They're just Volg prices, which isn't to say they're overpriced, but Volg stores are usually only found in smaller towns. It's nice to have one, and I'm happy to pay a little more for my groceries there. Thanks, Volg team! I'll definitely be back! 😉

Such unfriendly staff is hard to find! Today, June 12, 2021, I went into the store and bought six butter croissants. Then came the question—and to put it mildly—why I wasn't able to pre-order them... Hello, ugh! I will never support this Volg again.
