I ordered three roses online from Hauenstein that were explicitly advertised as climbing roses with a strong fragrance. Unfortunately, none of the delivered plants matched the promised characteristics: Sympathie® Climbing Rose: This rose is not a climbing rose, but a shrub rose. The fragrance is faint and disappointing. I initially thought I had made a mistake when ordering, but the product description stated it was a climbing rose. Chinatown Shrub Rose: I made the mistake of not paying close attention to the description – it was correctly delivered as a shrub rose. However, it hardly smells, even though it was promised to have a "strong fragrance." Barock® Climbing Rose: Despite carefully checking the product details before ordering, this rose is also not a climbing rose, does not smell strongly, and does not bloom continuously. This is particularly annoying because I specifically paid attention to the characteristics. Conclusion: I feel deceived. The product descriptions do not match reality. Given this price-performance ratio and the incorrect product, I unfortunately cannot recommend Hauenstein. It's frustrating when you specifically look for certain features and are then disappointed three times in a row. I expect a clear statement or solution, as I feel like I paid for something I didn't receive.

Six stars for the friendly staff who made an exception and shipped today! And zero stars for management, who have apparently established the following bizarre business practices: Shipping normally takes 10 days!! And the completely misleading descriptions: I only discovered by chance in conversation that the information on the website doesn't show the plant's current size, but rather its maximum height. This absolutely must be corrected. Please provide two separate pieces of information: the plant's current size and its maximum height.
