We were bowling at the Blue Cinema in Emmen on April 20th at 10:00 PM. While smoking outside, a colleague missed the trash but immediately picked it up. Unfortunately, he scribbled a little man on the chalkboard—clearly, that was a mistake. What followed was completely over the top: A Protectas security guard approached us extremely aggressively, stood up as if he wanted to fight, and threw my colleague out without any warning. No discussion was possible—the police were immediately called instead. We were able to clarify everything with the police and were allowed to continue our evening. One positive thing I have to say: The gentleman at the Protectas switchboard was very friendly, understanding, and handled the situation professionally. Unfortunately, the security guard on site urgently needs training in de-escalation and how to behave towards friendly guests.

Today around 12:15 pm at the kiosk on the ground floor. The security guard on duty was extremely unfriendly from the start. No greeting, no explanation, no instruction to wait outside – which would have been perfectly acceptable if communicated politely and professionally. Instead, I was yelled at without any warning. When I asked what the problem was, I continued to be treated disrespectfully. The guard stood just inches from me, shouted "Get out!" and issued me a ban from the premises without any discernible reason. When I asked him to show his ID, he pointedly turned his badge away so I couldn't read it. Such behavior is very disconcerting – I've never experienced anything like it before. I don't believe this kind of conduct meets the standards of your company or the expectations of your client. I expect a security guard to act calmly and de-escalate the situation – not with aggression or intimidation. If this behavior does not align with your values, please feel free to provide me with the contact information for the responsible person. I am open to clarification and would, of course, remove the review if the situation can be resolved satisfactorily. I sincerely hope that management will investigate this incident. A very young man is working in the 4th district. This man takes his job seriously, even at 18. The young man is great and very helpful. I wish he were in the 4th district more often.
