Hit or miss depending on your pick. Would recommend the bulgogi as it was flavorful and tasted most authentic. The chicken katsu wasn’t bad either, but the tonkotsu ramen lacked flavor depth. I must say they’re quite generous with the toppings though. Portions were overall filling and worth the price.
Restaurant was tucked away inside a courtyard, quite easy to miss at first. The ramen was good enough to satisfy my Asian food craving while in Switzerland. Service was excellent. Would recommend.
Ugh here we go, ANOTHER pan-asian restaurant to capture those hearts who desire asian food in the Swiss alps but cannot normally attain.... ...is what I thought Maybe it was my low expectations but I thought the tonkotsu ramen was really nice. Its not "authentic" but thats kinda its charm. I see some reviews say the broth wasn't "deep" or rich enough but in a European setting i thought it kinda worked nicely. Kinda like French onion soup warmth. I find some authentic Japanese ramen tonkostsu broth almost a bit TOO rich at times. Depends on the mood I guess. The whole dish is like if a western trained chef respected all the authentic rules about tonkotsu ramen and decided to add a little tiny western charm to it. Thought grilling the charshu pork was really nice. Its got a home kitchen feel i think you lose in some established restaurants. I dunno, maybe it's the cold post ski high but man I could eat that every other day. Service was also top-notch. The lady was so lovely amazing smile very friendly. I saw the reviews talk about this and thought it was an exaggeration but yeah can confirm the service is great. Food was fast although I was the only one there What a gem deserves more people than the one million other pizzerias or fondue places
After almost 2 weeks in Bavaria and a few days in Wengen we were craving ramen, we are so happy we stumbled across this spot. First night we had the tonkatsu ramen, bulgogi beef and chicken karaage. Ramen broth was phenomenal, the fry on the chicken was perfect and I don't even know what to say about the beef, just amazing. Second night, we did the udon and katsu chicken, then the apple gyoza for dessert. It was all delicious. On top of the amazing food and service, the people watching was 11/10. The dude running front of house was hustling the whole time, kept a smile on his face, cracking jokes all while dealing with usual tourist behavior. Gem of a spot, would give 6 stars if it was possible.
The food and service here was excellent! We started with a pork gyoza appetizer and that was good. I ordered the chicken katsu, it was delicious. My husband ordered the tonkotsu ramen, he added some chili to it and loved it. My dad also enjoyed the ramen, and my mom loved her fried rice with the added chicken. My mom and I loved the iced tea, it was refreshing. The waiters were very nice, excellent service. Best meal we had had so far in Wengen, highly recommend visiting here.
The beef bulgogi is an absolute must-try—tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Portions are generous and the flavors stand out compared to typical options in the area. The ramen is good but cannot be compared with the bulgogi. Service is efficient and welcoming, adding to the overall experience. Yes, Switzerland is expensive, but if you’re here, you might as well enjoy the best. Lecker Asia delivers excellent quality and taste that make it worth every franc.
