The company Albrecht-Klöti AG carried out a breakthrough for us. Our construction manager repeatedly informed the worker in charge that he should drill the holes without water and prior inspection if possible. Firstly, there was a risk of hitting a water pipe for the underfloor heating and severing electrical wires. Unfortunately, this warning was ignored. Therefore, no current measurements were taken. According to the EKZ, this measurement would have shown that electrical cables had passed through this area. The worker drilled the holes with cooling water and severed the entire electrical cable harness. As a result, dirty cooling water leaked from the junction boxes in various places in the apartment, causing significant contamination. The dirty cooling water flowed into the electrical distribution box, the storage box, the wooden floor, the paneling, etc. The EKZ partially cleaned the dirty water. This careless approach caused damage amounting to almost 3,500 Swiss francs. This involved installing new electrical cables in the apartment. Mr. Th. Meier from Albrecht-Klöti AG was contacted. He wrote that this was none of his business and that he was aware of the problem. They had done nothing wrong. He ignored further emails. A telephone conversation was attempted on May 3rd. Mr. Meier showed no understanding and refused to report the damage to his insurance company. He also refused to contribute to the additional costs incurred. Based on my experience and the way they treat customers, I cannot recommend this company. We consider this approach by Albrecht-Klöti AG unprofessional and not customer-friendly.
