Primero: pagamos por un Mountain View pero había una grúa roja grande y fea en el camino. Cuando fuimos a la recepción para preguntar si podíamos cambiar las habitaciones al otro lado, dijeron que no, pero que tenían un extra de 300$ por noche disponible. Segundo: la cama tamaño "queen" era en realidad LITERALMENTE dos camas individuales juntas. Mi marido estuvo cayendo por la grieta toda la noche. Tercero: no hay forma de controlar la temperatura de la habitación. Sin termostato. Cuarto: almohadas terribles. Dos almohadas para una cama "queen" y eran planas y viejas. Tuvimos que doblarlos por la mitad para conseguir algún tipo de comodidad. NO reserve aquí. La habitación era muy pequeña, lo cual estaría bien si la habitación fuera cómoda y la vista fuera estupenda.
El personal del hotel es amable. El desayuno es bueno. La limpieza de la habitación es mejorable. Sería bueno que las zapatillas estuvieran disponibles en la habitación.
Magníficas vistas desde nuestra habitación, que era espaciosa y limpia. Buen desayuno con una gran variedad de opciones y un personal del bar fabulosamente atento, amable y eficiente. El hotel también está en una excelente ubicación, muy accesible a restaurantes, etc. en la ciudad principal. Considerándolo todo, calificación de 5 estrellas para el Sunstar.

I had a great experience. The hotel is very well located, close to all amenities and right in front of the cable cars taking you to the ski slopes. The rooms are clean and very well lit (unlike some where you can't even read). They felt warm and cozy. Also love the fact that you don't need to put your key card in the slot to have light in your room. The only thing missing was extra pillows. The indoor pool is wonderful and has a fantastic view of the snowy mountains, absolutely breathtaking. They have 2 dining rooms, a buffet and a formal dining. You can have a tasty breakfast in the buffet room. The staff were all very nice and friendly. Special thanks to Kitti the barmaid, waitresses Margarida, Barbara, Mara and Carolina, who served us dinner on Christmas eve and Christmas day, wonderful girls. Thank you also to Luís and Daniel for the wonderful breakfast service and Lillie and Dot (apologies I don't know how to spell it) at the front desk. I absolutely recommend this hotel. Although a bit expensive. I will definitely stay there again. Also Grindelwald is a beautiful town, very typical. Top marks.
Great location, dining and wellness facilities. Rooms OK but a bit outdated , same as part of the elevators, hallway etc. Pool was closed on arrival day without any notice to us, the staff was nice to try to give some gifts but unfortunately the pool was one of the main reasons for choosing the hotel.
