Primo: abbiamo pagato per una Mountain View ma c'era una grossa e brutta gru rossa sulla strada. Quando siamo andati alla reception per chiedere se potevamo spostare le camere dall'altra parte, hanno detto di no, ma hanno a disposizione 300 $ extra a notte. Secondo: il letto "Queen" era in realtà LETTERALMENTE due letti singoli messi insieme. Mio marito è rimasto intrappolato tutta la notte. Terzo: nessun modo per controllare la temperatura nella stanza. Nessun termostato. Quarto: cuscini terribili. Due cuscini per un letto "queen" ed erano piatti e vecchi. Abbiamo dovuto piegarli a metà per ottenere una sorta di conforto. NON prenotare qui. La camera era davvero piccola, il che andrebbe bene se la camera fosse confortevole e la vista fosse fantastica.
Il personale dell'hotel è cordiale. La colazione è buona. La pulizia della camera è migliorabile. Sarebbe bello se in camera fossero disponibili le pantofole.
Magnifiche viste dalla nostra camera che era spaziosa e pulita. Buona colazione con una vasta gamma di opzioni e personale del bar incredibilmente attento, cordiale ed efficiente. Anche l'hotel è in un'ottima posizione, molto raggiungibile a piedi da ristoranti ecc. nella città principale. Nel complesso 5 stelle per il Sunstar.

I had a great experience. The hotel is very well located, close to all amenities and right in front of the cable cars taking you to the ski slopes. The rooms are clean and very well lit (unlike some where you can't even read). They felt warm and cozy. Also love the fact that you don't need to put your key card in the slot to have light in your room. The only thing missing was extra pillows. The indoor pool is wonderful and has a fantastic view of the snowy mountains, absolutely breathtaking. They have 2 dining rooms, a buffet and a formal dining. You can have a tasty breakfast in the buffet room. The staff were all very nice and friendly. Special thanks to Kitti the barmaid, waitresses Margarida, Barbara, Mara and Carolina, who served us dinner on Christmas eve and Christmas day, wonderful girls. Thank you also to Luís and Daniel for the wonderful breakfast service and Lillie and Dot (apologies I don't know how to spell it) at the front desk. I absolutely recommend this hotel. Although a bit expensive. I will definitely stay there again. Also Grindelwald is a beautiful town, very typical. Top marks.
Great location, dining and wellness facilities. Rooms OK but a bit outdated , same as part of the elevators, hallway etc. Pool was closed on arrival day without any notice to us, the staff was nice to try to give some gifts but unfortunately the pool was one of the main reasons for choosing the hotel.
