Restaurante absolutamente delicioso a lo largo de la caminata a Oberblegisee desde Braunwald. Teníamos el bistec especial que venía con una deliciosa ensalada y ensalada de pasta. Comida SÚPER refrescante a lo largo de una caminata bastante dura. No hay nada mejor que las vistas aquí, ya que está en medio de una caminata. Nuestro camarero fue muy amable y se tomó el tiempo de explicarnos la comida y de llevarnos de regreso al restaurante para mostrarnos sus postres. Por supuesto, tenía que conseguir el gigantesco brownie elaborado con leche fresca y chocolate del cercano Alpes. La mayoría de sus ingredientes provienen de los Alpes, ubicados justo al final de la colina, lo cual es súper genial: la comida es lo más fresca posible. Calificamos esto dentro de nuestros 3 mejores restaurantes de Suiza que probamos en nuestro viaje. Definitivamente vale la pena hacer una parada en tu caminata. ¡No te arrepentirás!

Este pequeño y maravilloso restaurante dentro de una acogedora cabaña está situado en el camino de una popular ruta de senderismo cerca del lago Oberblegi y cuenta con una terraza soleada con impresionantes vistas. Los amables anfitriones dan la bienvenida a cada huésped con una calidez y un servicio profesional inesperados en un lugar tan remoto. La comida es muy local, con carne y queso de empresas vecinas. Encuentro que hay mucho cuidado en la preparación de algunas recetas, como sus deliciosas sopas: el guiso de patatas no sólo contenía una excelente variedad de verduras de temporada, sino que incluía naranjas frescas y una sabrosa salchicha. ¡Vuelvo enseguida!

Gran lugar para descansar, comer algo de comida local y tomar una cerveza. Cuando caminas entre Braunwald y Oberblegilake está perfectamente ubicado. Los propietarios son muy amables y los precios son totalmente justos.

Nearby the lovely Oberblegisee, this charming »Bergbeiz« offers a wonderful view over the Bächital while you are sitting sourrounded by easy going cows and goats. Master Cheesemaker Albrecht Rhyner-Wüthrich and his sweet wife Lydia took over the management last year, besides organizing the Alp below. They offer an excellently rated homemade Alpkäse and own meat specialties among the usual Alp treats like Gerstensuppe, Sausages and a fantastic Raclette. Besides they have some of the best beers from Glarus and AppenzelI I ever had in Switzerland (I am German, so this is a huge compliment). For a nights stay there is room in the Alphütte 5 mins. down at the Alp (bring a sleeping bag) or for a more romantic approach you can book a cosy mini-chalet for two up on the hill. Nearby Zürich, this place is definetly worth a ride and/or walk, especially since they have a now newly opened Seilbahn going up there from Luchsingen. My review is certainly biased as I worked there last summer and will this one. But as someone that always wanted to live by the sea and never touched butter, you can take it serious if I say that I fell in love with this people, the milk products and the beef and with the slightly bizarre landscape. Check the weather forecast though, it has a very specific microclimate there and surprises with snow in mid august.
