Brutta esperienza. Io e la mia famiglia ci siamo fermati qui per un caffè e un dessert. Eravamo sei persone e ci siamo seduti abbastanza velocemente (dopo circa 2-3 minuti), cosa che apprezzo. Tuttavia, ci è stato assegnato un tavolo per cinque e abbiamo dovuto aspettare un paio di minuti per una sesta sedia. Sfortunatamente, il servizio da quel momento in poi è stato estremamente lento. Quando siamo arrivati, ci è stato dato solo il menu del cibo e abbiamo dovuto aspettare circa 15-20 minuti per ricevere il menu delle bevande. Poi passarono altri 15 minuti prima che qualcuno venisse a prendere la nostra ordinazione. Abbiamo ordinato dei dessert che erano esposti in distributori di vetro direttamente davanti al nostro tavolo, ma quando sono arrivate le bevande e i dessert, mancava una torta, la stessa torta che era letteralmente proprio davanti a noi. Per riassumere: • seduta veloce • breve attesa per una sedia in più • lunga attesa per il menu corretto • lunga attesa per la presa dell'ordine • ulteriore tempo di attesa a causa di un dolce dimenticato Oltre al servizio lento, la qualità è stata molto deludente. A Gstaad ci si aspetta un certo standard di qualità e questo posto non lo soddisfa. La torta aveva il sapore di essere stata congelata e riscaldata e il gelato era chiaramente di bassa qualità. Nel complesso, anche se i posti a sedere iniziali sono stati veloci, l'esperienza è stata scarsa. Non consiglierei questo posto, nemmeno per un semplice caffè e un dessert.

Our experience at Rialto began with an exceptional first impression, thanks to Mario’s remarkable hospitality. Despite the restaurant being incredibly busy, he remained professional, approachable, and attentive, ensuring we felt welcomed. His effort to accommodate our family after a 30-minute wait demonstrated exceptional customer care, making the wait worthwhile and setting a positive tone for the evening. Once seated, the pace of service did not match the initial impression. Requests for drinking water had to be made multiple times before they were addressed, reflecting a noticeable delay. While the staff were consistently friendly and courteous, it was evident that they were either understaffed or overwhelmed during peak hours. Despite this, the quality of the food was outstanding. We enjoyed the margarita pizza, pasta with bolognese sauce, grilled veal, tenderloin steak, mixed salad, green salad, and both the kids and adult veal escalope. Each dish was beautifully presented, cooked to perfection, and showcased the restaurant’s culinary expertise. While the slow service during busy hours may make us hesitant to visit again at peak times, the delicious food and warm hospitality still shine as highlights. With better staff management during high-traffic periods, Rialto has the potential to offer an unmatched dining experience. It’s a place worth revisiting, particularly during quieter times, to fully enjoy its excellent cuisine and welcoming ambiance.

The food was quite good, but the service was despicable. first, they brought me a very dirty glass (black stains on it). When I asked them to change it, the french speaking waitress just took it back without a word of apology. then they forgot to bring a tea. when i reminded she just said yes i forgot. too much attitude. she should not do this work if she doesnt like it.

This upscale pizzeria on mainstreet in Gstaad came highly recommended and it didn't disappoint. All our pizza and pasta dishes were delicious. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our food came very fast. As it's a popular place, reservations are recommended.
